Mate, I went from 1.4 8v to a t-jet. Bought with 50k miles i've done 40k on top of that in 18 months. 8 new tyres, cambelt replaced and serviced regularly. Had no major issues at all. Look after your car it will look after you. More so with a turbo, service parts, fluids etc just buy the best, not the cheapest.
