1 post · Joined 2014. #1 · May 2, 2014. In traffic queues there was a distinct clutch smell and then loss of ability to select gears. Cooled down on the hard shoulder and was ok again before AA arrived. Dealer cannot diagnose or fix. The car is March 2014 about 1200 miles, 1.0 Ecoboost. At the moment every longer trip is going to be a worry.

Please help. I've had the car 2 months. When I bought the car the weather was warm and had no problems. When the weather is colder (the problem seems to start at 5degC and below), the car is taking ages to warm up, the vents blow ice cold air, the temperature gauge in the car is off the scale.
